~~CHANCE 1 for my draw~~
*Be or Become a member of Let's Scrap which you can do by clicking http://letsscrap.ning.com/. It is free, simple to do and once you get there, I am sure you will love it!!
*Become a follower of my blog. I always love making new friends!
*Leave me a comment and let me know what color you use the most when scrapping/card making
(We are
finding that using Google Chrome or Firefox as your internet browser is the best option as Internet Explorer or IE does not always "play
nice" with Blogger)!
~~CHANCE 2 for my draw~~
*Create a card (or layout if you wish) from the sketch I have posted and upload it into the gallery at Let's Scrap. You can do this from your "My Page" and adding photos. When you upload it, there will be a place to insert a tag. Please tag your card from this sketch as such
1-18-12, LEAP1
Please note LEAP is all capitals and there is no space between LEAP and 1. Also, don't forget the comma.
*Leave a comment with a link to your card on Let's Scrap. If you need help with linking, you can find instructions here http://letsscrap.ning.com/forum/topics/how-to-copy-and-paste-a-page-link
PLEASE NOTE-the card needs to be newly created for the hop
Doing more than 1 card for my stop will not get you more chances at my candy, but no worries! With 50 hosts with 50 different sketches, you should have plenty to keep you busy! All winners will be drawn at random, so don't be shy! No matter what level of card maker you are, you will still have a chance to win! So clear off your desk and grab your scraps, there is a serious amount of cards to be created!! Don't worry, you don't HAVE to do all 50 cards! If you only have time for a couple, that is fine. You will get the second chance in the drawing for the blogs that you did create a card for.
The hop begins at 10:00 am Central standard time February 1, 2012 and will end at 11:59 pm February 29, 2012 Central standard time. This is the time zone that the main page of Let's Scrap uses, so you can always check there for reference.
All 50 winners will be announced March 3, 2012 in the Let's Scrap forum and after that announcement, each host will also be announcing their winner on their individual blogs.
THANKS FOR VISITING AND LEAVING ME SOME BLOG LOVE!!
Your next stop is the super talented, inspirational paper artist and fellow Design Team member
ELIZNA PARSONS

This comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteSo excited to do the blog hop!! Awesome cards and one of my favorite sketches! My favorite color to use while scrapping is brown! I love how versatile it is and different shades compliment any color on the color wheel!
ReplyDeleteKudos, Mindi, for pulling this all together! The card to your BFF is gorgeous! Love the colors! And the metal embellishment you made for the anniversary card is amazing! (I hope you do a tutorial on that!)I love working with neutral, earthy tones, though I don't really have a favorite scrapping color.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! :) I find that my go-to colors are pink/green combos for feminine cards and brown/blue for male cards. I have a couple of pieces of Doodlebug papers I've horded that have these colors in plaids and dots and I reach for them all the time! :) Great job!
ReplyDeleteWhooo hoooo! And we're off! I've been waiting for this. I am a member of Let's Scrap, and a follower of your blog too. So enter me in the fab give away please! I love the card for your hubby. It's so hard to create masculine cards. You knocked it out of the park! TFS
ReplyDeletePS, I have a friend who is trying to decide on a new heat gun. One she's considering is the one you have. Can I send her over to ask you about it? Thanks again, Jessica
you certainly can Jessica! I have never embossed before I got this gun, so I have nothing to compare to. For the price, it works well for me!
DeleteMindi thanks so much for all the work you have put into organizing this amazing blog hop. I love both the cards you made the first one is so bright and cheery and perfect for your BFF. The second one is very masculine and I'm sure your hubby will love it. My favorite colors to scrap with are pinks/brown combo's
ReplyDeleteSorry I had to delete my other comment because I missed the what color I scrap with question.
Mindi, thank you for doing all the organizing for the HOP! Love your cards.
ReplyDeleteI love brown/green combinations and also blue/brown and pink/brown....depending on the theme, off course!
Wow. Nice Prize! I love green & orange. Your card for your BFF blows me away. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of the hop. Great work.
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE your cards! I think the one for Mike is a super masculine card, and he will love it. And the other one is just so classy looking with the flowers and the swirls!
ReplyDeleteThanks again for all the work!!!!! {HUGS}
Ooooooops, forgot about my color: I love KRAFT!!!!!!!! I think you can find it on almost any of my LO's. Love how it just goes with every color.

What a great job you have done setting up this hop....well organized and clear instructions! It sure is long, though! Can't wait to get started!
ReplyDeleteI am already a member at LS (ha ha) and I just signed up again to follow your blog (new computer!). Love the two cards you made for examples....I plan to make some thank you cards this month, too!
My go-to color? Hmmmm.....you know I love every color in the rainbow. I never use just one color, and the more the merrier!
Off to hop some more and then make some cards. I'm doing 10 at a time so I don't get overwhelmed!
Thanks again, Mindy....great event at LS this month!
Cute cards! I've been a member at LS, and I recently joined your blog =). I don't have a go-to color really...I like to match to my photos. But I guess I do tend to use a lot of blues, greens & purples which are my favorites =)
ReplyDeleteLOVE your secret card for your hubby Mindi..it's so masculine. Thanks for hosting such a great hop. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteWow! amazing job organising this hop! Can't wait to start creating! At the moment the colours I am using the most are neutrals - white, black, or kraft, then I add colour from there.

ReplyDeleteHi Mindi! Thanks for setting up this awesome blog hop. What a great way to add some fun to the middle of winter! I am a follower and a Let's Scrap member. I re-did my reply because I forgot the color! I don't have a favorite - I choose based on the patterned paper I want to use.

ReplyDeleteThank you for putting the hop together! You rock :):)
Mindi, What wonderful cards you have created! And a wonderful job you have done putting this whole hop together...other sites will be following your lead I am certain!
ReplyDeleteI don't know that there is a particular color I prefer to use, I try to make things go with photos. But I think I do like to use a brighter color pallet in my designs.
Beautiful cards, I especially love the first one, love the colors.
ReplyDeletejaniceaeschliman.blogspot.com
I use a lot of pink.
DeleteLove how different both cards look! They are both fabulous! My favourite colour is green, but my most used colour is pink... can you guess why? Thanks for working so hard to organise this hop, it's so much fun!
ReplyDeleteI am already a follower and of course a member of Let's Scrap. Thanks for organizing this hop, you've done a super job.
ReplyDeleteI guess green is my most used color, I seem to have more green paper than any other color, both printed and cardstock. Probably because it is my daughter's favorite color and I can't resist buying it LOL
Love your cards. Wow 50 hops. this will be fun
ReplyDeleteI'm already a follower Mindi - and of course a member of Let's Scrap. Thanks for organising this wonderful hop. I don't have any favourite colours, but tend to go for the earthy, greens, browns, yellows. Best of luck with the hop!!
ReplyDeleteHI Mindi. This is my first time visit here. I have become a Follower and am already a member of Lets Scrap. I love your creations and your take on the sketch for the blog hop is gorgeous. Its quite difficult narrowing down one favourite colour for my creative work, but I would say I use, creams, browns, blues and greens quite a bit - guess thats because I am an outdoor girl. Would love to see you as a Follower over at www.desiref.blogspot.com

Great card projects. I don't really gravitate to any one color. I just choose based on a particular pad of paper I want to use or I go by what will match best with the colors in my photos for scrapbooking.

Thanks once again Mindy for the GREAT FUN I had participating in this Blog HOP. Thank you for all your organisation, it's much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteI made a full stop @ card #29 - exactly enough for me for the LEAP month ;-) I have way too many other real life priorities which kept me from completing all the challenges, but the ones I did, I really enjoyed.
Hugs all the way from Namibia
