My wedding album

This is page 1 & 2 of the pages I did for our first dance. I printed the lyrics to "Wonderful Tonight" (our first dance song) on vellum and atttached it with eyelets. The music notes, titles and photo matting is out of a shiny, semi-glittery cardstock. On the top of page 2, I cut the notes with my cricut and put them thru the ribbon I had woven into the polka dot cardstock. original LO

pages 3 & 4 of the first dance. On the 2 pictures that are close up of our hands, I put a black metal ring that I added glitter to around the wedding rings to add emphasis. The disco ball is actually a picture of the one we had at the wedding. original LO

Our invitation and RSVP cards. I hand made the flower above from a pattern I found online. I used double sided cardstock and added some bling. original LO

This is one of my favorite pages, cuz of shoes of course!! I entered this into the "CreateForLess" facebook page contest last month. I got 6th place out of 127 (2 votes away from 5th).   Oh well, maybe next year. Still not a bad showing, and I am pretty proud of myself for doing as well as I did. orginal LO

I love the little black embellishments that I used on this. This was for Let's Scrap NSD (National Scrapbooking Day) Challenge #6. The challenge was to do a LO with all black and white with a splash of color. Originally the stripe going across the midde was yellow, and it looked really cool. The OCD in me couldn't stand the fact that there was yellow in my black and white wedding album, so I took it apart and replaced it with white. Sometimes I worry about myself :) This sketch is from Let's Scrap tagged 12-29-10.

NSD Challenge #9. The challenge was to use the word first in the title, add texture to the title (glitter chipboard), use 3 patterned papers, use a quote on the page, journal around the photos and hand draw a border around the page. swhew! I really liked the John Lennon quote I ended up using and I think the page turned out great. This is Let's Scrap sketch tagged ls113.

NSD Challenge #2. Title must include something about or the word "time". This is one of my favorite pictures from the wedding. I fussy cut the flower out of a piece of patterned cardstock and added all the bling. I think it turned out pretty cool. This is Let's Scrap sketch tagged BB4.
NSD Challenge #8 Cut your photos on a diagonal. This was really hard for me. I felt like I was destroying the pictures! The funny thing is, you can actually fit a lot more photos doing it this way. I still haven't done it again since the challenge, but someday I will :). Let's Scrap sketch tagged ls104

NSD Challenge #5 to use book/dictionary text on your LO anything goes. I used an old dictionary I bought at a thrift store and cut out love, cherish and forever for the page. Then I cut a strip, punched it with my border punch and made the above flower. Let's Scrap sketch 11-10-10 (left side)

NSD Challenge #4 you can not use any pictures on your LO and it had to have a title. This was tough for me, but then I realized it would be a great way to get my wedding program scrapped (which I was putting off). Let's Scrap sketch ls129.

So far this is it for my wedding album, but there will be lots more to come. I also have other NSD challenge pages done, but they will be in other albums. To see the sketches I used from Let's Scrap, this is there page http://letsscrap.ning.com/ . While you are there, snoop around and maybe even join :)

Just popping in to add a few of my newer wedding layouts. 2nd Mom is from the DCWV November Stack-a-holic challenge. I was chosen in the top 10 with this page :)

The "Friends" layout and the rest below are all from Let's Scrap sketches
